The Olde Town Neighborhood is located in the Eastern most part of the City of Portsmouth, bordered by the Elizabeth River on the North and East, Interstate 264 on the South, and Effingham Street on the West. The neighborhood contains many attractions including: the Children's Museum of Virginia, Naval Shipyard Museum, Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Ntelos Concert Pavilion and Elizabeth River Ferry. A majority of the buildings in the neighborhood are from the late 18th Century to the 1910s, with small or no yards for a true city living feel.
